About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Psychiatric & Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality mental health and addiction care.

Responsibilities

• conducting psychiatric evaluations
• physical exams
• medical progress notes
• screening for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
• managing medications
• interpreting lab results
• familiarity with ASAM and JCAHO standards
• adherence to state and federal regulations
• proficiency with electronic health records
• support on-call duties
• collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• advanced nursing degrees (Family Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner)
• licensed in the appropriate state
• DEA certification for prescribing controlled substances
• experience in addiction medicine or behavioral health preferred
• knowledge of medication management
• detox protocols
• risk assessment tools
