Full-Time Physical Therapist: School Age Related Services

Essential Functions

• Prompt responsiveness to inquiries
• Professional and courteous verbal and nonverbal communication
• Proactive problem solving
• Assessment of the student's physical performance areas and components
• Participation in educational MDE and IEP processes
• Design and implementation of physical therapy intervention programs
• Ongoing management of the physical therapy program including documentation, communications, record keeping, in-service education, and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with members of the student's educational Team
• Develop a monthly schedule reflecting services in compliance with the needs of all students
• Adhere to the established work schedule through regular and consistent attendance
• Contribute to the effective team management of all problems, issues, and opportunities

Essential Physical Requirements

• The strength and ability to lift and/or assist in lifting pupils of ages ranging from pre-school to school-age and their assistive appliances
• Considerable bending, stooping, and squatting must be tolerated
• The ability to possibly restrain students in emotional stress

Minimum Salary: $66,806.00

Status: Full-Time

Schedule: 7.00 Hours/Day (8:00 am-3:30 pm) Monday-Friday 190 Days/Year
