About the role

Bay Village of Sarasota is a senior living community offering rehabilitation services and individualized care plans. We are seeking a Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic therapy team.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions

Requirements

• Current Florida PTA license
• At least 1 year of recent relevant experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized PTA program
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)

Pay

$25.00 - $27.00 per hour based on experience
