About the role
Kendal at Lexington is a premier continuing care retirement community in Lexington, VA. As a Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work with a dedicated and experienced therapy team to provide high-quality care to a diverse group of residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and reimbursement processes

Pay
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
