Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve strength, mobility, and function.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Adapt treatment methods based on individual patient needs and feedback.

Requirements

• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Virginia.
• A minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Strong manual therapy skills and knowledge of therapeutic exercise principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay
