Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in providing treatment to patients.
  • Perform therapeutic exercises and activities under supervision.
  • Help patients with mobility and functional training.
  • Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Virginia.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Pay

$25.00 - $27.00 per hour based on experience.
