Full-Time Pastor needed in Jackson, MS

About the role

The Flag Chapel Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi seeks a pastor to lead a traditional worship service with an average attendance of 80-100 people. The church is independent and uses only the KJV Bible. It is situated on 6 acres with a fellowship hall and Sunday school building in good condition. The position comes with a full-time salary and a 5-bedroom parsonage.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly traditional worship services
• Teach Sunday school classes
• Oversee church activities and events
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with congregation members
• Preach and teach sermons based on the KJV Bible

Requirements

• At least a bachelor’s degree in theology or related field
• Experience leading a church or similar ministry
• Strong teaching and preaching skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a team
• Willingness to live on-site at the church property

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to the teachings of the KJV Bible
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a budget and oversee church finances
• Knowledgeable about Baptist church practices and traditions
