Overview
Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church on Highway 126 in Cochran, GA is seeking a full-time pastor.
Duties
- Lead engaging Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday evening meetings
- Lead the church in spiritual growth
- Perform an effective community outreach program
- Visit hospital, homebound, and nursing home members
- Lead counseling crisis sessions as needed
- Perform wedding and funeral ceremonies
- Participate in leadership meetings
Qualifications
- Prefers bachelor’s degree in Theology, Divinity, or a related field
- Prefers experience in pastoral ministry or church leadership
- Ordination or certification by a recognized Baptist church/association
- Strong commitment to the faith and teachings of the denomination
- Possess the standards of 1 Timothy 3:2-7 and Titus 1:7-9
