Full Time / Part Time - Order Writer / Nabisco Merchandiser

About the role

As a Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer, you will fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication and relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays. You will become an ambassador of world-famous brands like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, and other delicious industry-leading snacks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
• Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Optimize sales with customers by maximizing in-store visibility of Mondelēz products, focusing on quantitative and qualitative filling of IMPULSE products (Gum, candy) in checkouts and dedicated impulse locations (linear shops, contact points, additives).
• Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) are well represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines.
• Follow the checkout implementation plan negotiated by the Mondelēz sales representative to fill checkouts and ensure competition compliance; report any issues to the sales representative and store employees.
• Follow the daily route planning prepared by the operations team to ensure the most efficient in-store service.
• Occasionally fill seasonal shelves and implement seasonal extra visibility actions in-store.
• Support the implementation of seasonal campaigns and new product launches to optimize seasonal sales.
• Represent Mondelēz International in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representatives to optimize product visibility.
• Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are followed and communicate any issues to Mondelēz’ management team.
• Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in-store.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Positive and professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage reimbursed).
• Ability to perform physical activities such as repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs; occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes moving products from stock rooms to the store floor and stocking shelves.
• Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within a 25-35 mile range from the primary location (Dallas, TX).

Pay

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $16.15 to $20.19 based on relevant experience.
