About the role

Jovie Working with Multiple Families is an engaging, creative, fun, and flexible opportunity for those with experience as babysitters, daycare workers, nannies, or church nursery volunteers. It's also suitable for retired teachers or teaching professionals looking for a smaller, less structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in-home without transporting them
• Perform common sense clean-up of activities or meals with the child
• Support families needing care for children ranging from infants through toddlers, with highest demand for infants
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on observed age-appropriate development

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Experience working with children, preferably with infant experience
• Reliable transportation
• Availability on any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
• Willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
• Communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor
• A bright smile to greet each family

Pay

$23 per hour - $26.50 per hour per hour
