A busy full-service flower shop with a staffed front counter, heavy walk-in traffic, weddings, events and weekly accounts.

Position Summary

We’re hiring a full-time/part time Floral Designer with professional experience creating beautiful retail arrangements, fulfilling website orders, managing weekly accounts, and producing wedding/event florals. Must be comfortable serving walk-in customers at the front counter (no phone or POS duties required).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and assemble fresh floral products to shop standards (bouquets, arrangements, every day designs, sympathy work, wedding work, corsages)
• Recreate and adapt arrangements from website photos and product descriptions
• Serve walk-in customers at the front counter (no phone or POS handling)
• Fulfill weekly/recurring accounts and subscription orders
• Plan, prepare and install wedding and event florals (deliveries, installs, breakdowns)
• Packaging items for delivery/pickup and coordinate with drivers
• Maintain fresh inventory, refrigeration and flower care
• Absorb and assist with merchandising and front-of-store displays to maximize sales
• Work flexible schedule; extra hours for events, holidays and peak seasons

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional floral design experience in a retail/full-service shop
• Strong customer-facing skills; comfortable assisting walk-in clients
• Solid design sense, knowledge of flowers, mechanics and care
• Experience with weddings/events and fulfilling recurring orders
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work under time pressure
• Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, with strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license preferred
