Full-time Paraprofessional At-Risk

About the role

The School District of Onalaska is accepting applications for a full-time special education paraprofessional at Onalaska high school. This position specifically supports students who are at-risk, requiring a de-escalation mindset to provide consistent behavioral and emotional support throughout the school day.

Schedule

• Hours: 7:15am to 3:15pm
• No nights or weekends, school day only
• Summer school work is available if interested

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years (48 credits) post high school education, or an associate degree preferred
• If two years post high school is not achieved, applicants must have passed ParaPro Assessment or designated WorkKeys Assessments prior to employment (the WorkKeys Assessment is paid for by the district if selected for employment)
