About the role
As an Outfitter, you are the heart of our brand. You’ll recommend gear and products that help customers cross their next finish line, regardless of their goals. This role goes above and beyond to take care of our customers and communities, building meaningful relationships by listening to needs, providing personalized solutions, and outfitting them with everything they need to succeed. Responsibilities
- Deliver the best customer experience by outfitting every customer who walks through the door
- Listen to customer needs and provide personalized product recommendations
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and peers
- Support all Fleet Feet initiatives, activities, and functions
- Communicate professionally with customers and the team
- Go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Proactive learner and sound decision-maker

Qualifications
- 35–40 hours per week, including one regular weekend shift and availability for both opening and closing shifts
- Ability to move around for 2–4 hours without a rest break, manage task sequencing, and use point-of-sale systems
- Moderate to heavy lifting (10–30+ lbs), bending, and reaching overhead
- Substantial communication with customers in a retail setting with product displays and inventory
- Use of cutting devices to break down boxes and potential exposure to slippery surfaces
