Full Time or Part Time Groomer
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Groomer to join our team and help us expand our grooming services. VCA Parkway Animal Hospital is a busy two doctor practice with a variety of services offered, including grooming. This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated Groomer to capitalize on our established clientele. The successful candidate for this position will share our love of our patients and our loyal clientele while we provide the highest quality care to their pets. We are looking for someone who is invested in the long-term success of their career at our hospital as a member of our team.
Responsibilities
- Provide general grooming services to patients of all breeds using appropriate grooming techniques such as hair cuts, bathing, dematting, clipping, nail trimming, ear cleaning, external gland expression, brushing and drying.
- Maintain own grooming space and perform housekeeping of that area.
Requirements
- Excellent animal handling and client service skills are required.
- Dependable attendance is required.
Qualifications
- Grooming School classes and/or Grooming Certificate preferred.

Pay
Compensation is hourly base pay plus commission. Pay range is negotiable based on experience and credentials, starting at $16.00/hour.
Schedule
Shifts days and times are variable and can be on a set rotation or weekly schedule.
