About the Role
KXOJ, a leading CCM station soon to celebrate 50 years on the air in 2027, is searching for the next great on-air talent to host Afternoon Drive or Middays. We’re a local station deeply embedded in the Tulsa community, supported by local businesses and connecting with listeners in real-time about local events, weather, and stories.
KXOJ consistently ranks as one of Tulsa’s top-rated stations across all formats and demographics, reflecting our commitment to excellence in production, community engagement, and on-air presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prep and deliver a live weekday show (midday or afternoon drive)
- Produce a recorded weekend show
- Voice production as needed
- Host live broadcasts, including client remotes and community events
- Create engaging social media content
Depending on your experience and interests, additional roles in programming, production, or promotions may be available in the future.
Requirements
- Previous on-air radio experience
- Knowledge and passion for the CCM format
- Technical proficiency
- Outgoing, energetic personality with a genuine love for connecting with listeners, clients, and team members
