Full Time OD Needed in Albany & Russell Springs

About the role

The OD position is based in both Albany and Russell Springs. The primary responsibilities include conducting vision tests, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing patient education on eye health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vision tests
• Prescribe and fit corrective lenses
• Provide patient education on eye health and care
• Document patient interactions and test results accurately
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

Requirements

• Current license to practice optometry in at least one of the two locations
• Bachelor's degree in Optometry from an accredited program
• At least two years of relevant work experience in optometry

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

• Knowledge of ocular diseases and conditions
• Experience with various types of corrective lenses
• Good manual dexterity for fitting lenses
