Full-Time Occupational Therapist

About the role

RSU 3 is seeking a dedicated, collaborative, and student-centered Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our multidisciplinary special education team. This full-time, school-year position provides services to students across multiple elementary, middle, and high school settings. It offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student independence, participation, and success in the educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with educators, families, administrators, and related service providers to develop and implement individualized occupational therapy services that support students' educational goals.
• Supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Provide services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program.

Requirements

• Current Maine Occupational Therapist Licensure.
• CHRC certification required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
