About the role
We are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible OB/GYN to join a growing Women’s Health Service Line. This role is based in East Islip, delivering at a regional hospital, and involves comprehensive patient care including outpatient assessments, inpatient treatments, and major surgeries. The position offers the opportunity to participate in an expanding system-wide OB/GYN program with a high volume and diverse caseload, supporting approximately 4,700 deliveries annually.
Responsibilities
- Adhering to standards of care
- Engaging in medical education activities such as lectures and precepting
- Sharing after-hours on-call duties
- Participating in clinical trials and quality initiatives
Qualifications
- NYS licensed MD or DO
- Board Certification or Eligibility
- Strong clinical background in evaluation and management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster a culture of patient safety and performance improvement
