Full-Time Nurse - ICU

Job Summary The Head Nurse oversees patient care, staff management, and daily operations within a specific nursing unit. Utilizing the nursing process, they collaborate with patients and families to promote health, ensuring safe, compassionate, and respectful care. Provides clinical leadership to nursing staff, maintaining continuity of care aligned with organizational policies and goals, in partnership with leadership teams. Responsibilities Interpret and review diagnostic data relevant to patient conditions.Collaborate with leadership and other disciplines to identify and implement improvements.Guide staff during life-threatening situations and evaluate intervention outcomes.Implement innovative processes to enhance patient outcomes.Participate in clinical leadership activities such as coaching, mentoring, staffing, and evaluations.Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving healthcare delivery.Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate patient care.Support ongoing professional development.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in the current unit or similar setting.Proficiency in computer literacy.Valid RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.Preferred skills include ACLS certification.
