About the Role

Nocturnist providing comprehensive inpatient care during overnight hours.

Responsibilities

  • Manage admissions, consultations, and medical emergencies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and referring physicians
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital protocols
  • Support resident and medical student training
  • Maintain accurate documentation

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Active Texas Medical License or eligibility
  • Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning

Schedule

Full-time, 12-hour shifts on a 7-on/7-off schedule.
