Responsibilities
- Providing quality nursing care in a correctional facility during night hours
- Applying critical thinking and clinical skills to assess, monitor, and support inmate health needs
- Serving as a reliable, steady presence and making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Adhering to safety, confidentiality, and regulatory standards
Qualifications and skills required
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and decision-making abilities
- Compassionate and confident in managing patient care independently
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule including every other weekend
