About the role

Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants and toddlers with local families throughout San Francisco. Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care for infants and toddlers
• Support feeding, naps, and daily routines
• Encourage learning through reading, play, and age-appropriate activities
• Communicate with parents about their child’s day
• Create a positive environment where children can learn and grow

Monday–Friday availability preferred. Most shifts occur between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Typical shifts are 6–9 hours. Work with vetted, local families.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of infant childcare experience
• Love working with infants and toddlers
• Dependable and professional
• Communicate well with parents and children
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• At least 2 childcare-related references and 1 character reference
• At least 18 years old

Experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings.
