About the role

Jovie of San Diego is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants and toddlers with local families throughout San Diego. This full-time or part-time nanny position offers daytime hours, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care for infants and toddlers
• Support feeding, naps, and daily routines
• Encourage learning through reading, play, and age-appropriate activities
• Communicate with parents about their child’s day
• Create a positive environment where children can learn and grow

Requirements

• At least 1 year of infant childcare experience
• Love working with infants and toddlers
• Dependable and professional
• Strong communication skills with parents and children
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Ability to provide references (at least 2 related to childcare work; 1 character)
• Minimum age 18 years

Pay

$18-$21/hour + Overtime Pay

Schedule

Monday–Friday availability preferred; most shifts occur between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM; typical shifts are 6–9 hours; work with vetted, local families.
