About the role

A Full-Time Merchandiser Order Writer is a frontline force for retail excellence, bringing world-famous snacks like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy!, and Triscuit to life in-store. This role involves building relationships, stocking shelves, executing displays, and ensuring shoppers always find their favorite snacks right where they expect them.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to both store teams and shoppers
  • Execute daily store visits following Mondelēz’ Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Merchandising Excellence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel to support execution and visibility of our brands
  • Order product via iPad to maintain in-stock conditions for both shelf and display using Salesforce
  • Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with Retail Territory Manager (RTM)-negotiated plans
  • Follow daily schedules and priorities set by RTM for efficient coverage among retail team and colleagues
  • Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high visibility merchandising events
  • Communicate store-level insights, issues, or opportunities to RTM and management team

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods preferred
  • Positive and professional attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Ability to drive personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to various store locations
  • Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced environment and meet defined physical activities
  • Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: North Philly, PA
  • Schedule availability required: Mon - Fri

Qualifications

  • Retail Execution Excellence – Skilled in implementing planograms, building displays, and maintaining shelf standards

  • Digital Fluency – Comfortable using mobile tools (iPad/tablet & applications)
  • Collaborative Communication – Able to build trust with store personnel and communicate effectively with RTMs and management
  • Adaptability & Initiative – Flexible in responding to store needs, seasonal priorities, and promotional opportunities
  • Physical Readiness – Energetic and capable of lifting, bending, and moving product throughout the day
  • Time & Task Management – Organized and efficient in following daily schedules and completing store visits

Pay

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $19.43 to $21.43 based on relevant experience
