Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer

About the Role

Join our team as a Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer and become an ambassador for world-famous brands like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, and Triscuit. You'll fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication, relationship building, stocking shelves, and maintaining or changing displays. Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees, work closely with sales representatives, and ensure our products are well-represented and stocked according to company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
• Order products (via iPad Tablet) for shelves and displays to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Ensure Nabisco leading brands are well-represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines.
• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure efficient in-store service.
• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
• Communicate any issues with Mondelēz’ management team and ensure sales representatives’ negotiated plans with store managers are followed.
• Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in-store.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to drive a personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to various store locations (mileage reimbursed).
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs., and occasionally pushing/pulling over 50 lbs.
• Live within 25-35 miles of the primary location: Reston, VA, with secondary locations in Herndon, VA.
• Schedule availability required: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Qualifications

• Positive and professional attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus.

Pay

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $22.65 to $24.65 based on relevant experience.
