Full-time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer

About the role

Join our team of Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writers and fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication and relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays. Become an ambassador of world-famous brands like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, and Triscuit. Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representatives to optimize the visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and to construct promotional displays.

Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores. Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions. Ensure Nabisco leading brands are well represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines. Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure efficient in-store service. Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.

Responsibilities

• Stock store shelves and maintain or change out displays
• Communicate and build relationships with in-store employees
• Capture pictures of displays at assigned stores
• Order product for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions
• Follow Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps
• Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are followed and communicate any issues
• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager
• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches
• Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in-store
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs; occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 lbs
• Move products from stock rooms to store floor and stock shelves

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Positive and professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to various store locations (mileage reimbursed)
• Live within 25-35 miles of the primary location: Bad Axe, MI (secondary locations: Caro, MI, Sandusky, MI)
• Schedule availability required: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
• Start time: 07:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus

Pay

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 based on relevant experience.
