About the role

Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking at Mondelēz International. Fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication & relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and build relationships with in-store employees and sales representatives to optimize the visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and construct promotional displays.
  • Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz' DSD Merchandising Steps, capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
  • Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions.
  • Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) are well represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines.
  • Work closely with sales representatives to follow negotiated plans with store managers and communicate any issues to Mondelēz' management team.
  • Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure the most efficient in-store service.
  • Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
  • Represent Mondelēz in a positive and upbeat manner while interacting with store employees.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A positive and professional attitude, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
  • The ability to drive a personal vehicle to various store locations and perform hard work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus.
  • Live within a 25-35 mile range from the primary location: Chico, CA.

Pay
