About the role

We are seeking an MRI Technologist responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce detailed internal images for diagnosis.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients by reviewing medical history, explaining procedures, verifying safety, and positioning for scans.
  • Operate MRI machines, adjust settings, administer contrast agents, and ensure high-quality images.
  • Prioritize patient safety, monitor during scans, and provide comfort and post-procedure instructions.
  • Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment, ensure cleanliness, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to review images, discuss patient care, and ensure accurate documentation in electronic health records.
  • Follow safety protocols, especially regarding magnetic fields and contrast agents, to ensure safe procedures.
  • Stay current with technological advancements, participate in ongoing training, and mentor new staff.
