Join Lap of Love as an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in Wilmington, DE and surrounding areas. We offer flexible 2-5* day-per-week schedules, an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day, and comprehensive onboarding and ongoing mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
  • Work with a supportive community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals
  • Enjoy freedom beyond the walls of a traditional clinic

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

  • Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
  • Strong communication and empathy skills

Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in the Wilmington, DE area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities.
