Veterinarian

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in Fresno, CA and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules, compassionate hospice and euthanasia care, and a supportive community of veterinarians and support professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
• Work with a team of veterinarians and support professionals
• Enjoy flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules
• Receive ongoing training and mentorship

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Comfortable working with end-of-life situations

Pay

Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities.
