Full-Time Merchandiser

About the role

Pepsi of Worcester & Windham is a family-owned and operated independent Pepsi franchise in operation since 1956. We service the greater Worcester County, MA and Windham County, CT areas.

Responsibilities

• Sell and merchandise product within designated accounts.
• Stock shelves, rotate shelved product, set up displays, stock and rotate products in coolers, organize and rotate products in storage rooms, and move products from storage to the sales floor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members (e.g., SDL, delivery) that help align ourselves better with the customer.
• Maintain merchandising standards while rotating products each time in designated accounts.
• Maximize profitable sales opportunities by thoroughly understanding the customer's business and building relationships based on trust and integrity.
• Sell-in and implement promotional strategies for the introduction of new brands and packages.
• Successfully sell promotional plans that align with and support the customer's and Windham Pepsi-Cola’s business objectives and strategies.
• Overcome customer objections for display and incremental opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to use an iOS handheld device.
• Moving products within a store (for example, safely stacking and moving products on equipment such as a U-boat, hand truck/dolly and/or breakdown).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• This position requires lifting, loading, bending, squatting, pushing and pulling cases weighing from 20 – 55 pounds, and moving pallets with a pallet jack.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 50-250 pounds.
• Mercandising products to employer/customer set standards.
• Managing & rotating backroom/stock room inventory (organizing pallets, stacking and storing inventory or products).
• Must be able to work daytime hours, weekends and holidays.
• Must have valid Driver's License in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years retail experience.

Pay Range

The Pay Range For This Role Is 24.76 - 24.76 USD per hour(Dayville)
