Full-Time - Merchandiser

Job Description

The Merchandiser plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability, visibility, and promotion of Coca-Cola beverages in retail stores across Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast’s territory. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising plans to ensure optimal product placement, display, and availability in retail stores.
• This includes stocking shelves, rotating products, building displays, and ensuring product freshness.
• Maintain product on store racks, shelves, displays, and in coolers by identifying replenishment needs.
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment.
• Implement promotional activities and marketing campaigns in accordance with company guidelines.
• Set up promotional displays and signage to attract customer attention and drive sales.
• Secure damaged or defective product while maintaining a clean product space.
• Ensure accurate product counts by properly managing backrooms and organizing backstock.
• Operate manual and powered handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.).
• Maintain areas of responsibility in designated accounts by communicating status and concerns to store and company personnel.
• Follow company and store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff to drive collaboration and maximize merchandising opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service to address any inquiries or concerns.

Job Requirements

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience working in grocery, retail, consumer goods, warehousing or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred.
• Must have the ability to repetitively lift, push and pull up to 40-55 pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach.
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
• A valid driver’s license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets or exceeds company requirements.

Pay

$24/hour + incentive eligibility + mileage reimbursement

Schedule

Friday to Tuesday | 6:30 AM start (route completion)

• Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and an MVR that meets company policy.
