About the Role

Mental Health Therapists provide comprehensive psychological and behavioral case management services within a continuum of high to low intensity services designed to improve or maintain each mental health consumer’s abilities to function in the community. Assesses, monitors, and follows up with consumer’s ability to meet basic needs in moving toward recovery. Responsible for all clinical documentation of consumer interaction.

The Walk-in Center is a 24/7 crisis center serving anyone in the community who is experiencing a crisis or needing immediate support. The clinician provides direct mental health clinical assessments and treatment to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The clinician works with others in a clinical team environment to help individuals move toward recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic mental health assessments as well as individual, couple, and/or group psychotherapy.
  • Develop treatment plans; monitor treatment progress and follow-up as clinically indicated.
  • Facilitate the individual's growth and development with an emphasis on strengths, culture, resiliency, and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support the growth and development of those we serve.
  • Facilitate the coordination of services for individuals with supplemental needs in psychiatric, case management, and medical domains.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with WellPower standards.
  • Participate in team/department meetings, trainings, and supervisory sessions as required.
  • Maintain a trauma-informed environment of wellbeing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or similar field.
  • Current license as a LCSW/LPC/LMFT in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain within 24 months of employment.
  • Minimum of one year experience working with severe and persistently mentally ill population.

Pay

  • Mental Health Therapist II (Master's Level): $31.25/hr
  • LPC/LMFT/LCSW: $37.59/hr
  • Overnight Differential: $3.00/hr
  • Language Differential: $2.50/hr for bilingual proficiency in Spanish & ASL
  • CAS/LAC: $1/hr

The posted range represents the full hiring range. Offers will not exceed this range; the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Wednesday - Friday, awake overnight opportunity, from 7pm-7:30am

Physical Requirements

  • Requires sitting, standing, bending, and reaching.
  • May require lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, the telephone, and other office and/or clinical equipment.
