Full Time Maintenance Ride Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, lubrication, troubleshooting, and repair of all rides and devices.
• Notify maintenance of equipment problems, building repairs, etc., necessary to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Read and understand checklists, instruction manuals, etc.
• Maintain inventory of equipment.
• Absorb and assist in the inspection, routine maintenance, lubrication, and repairs of rides as instructed, including replacement of bearings, wheels, miscellaneous parts, and oil changes.
• Maintain daily log sheets of inspections and repairs performed.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Responsible for all mechanical maintenance in regards to amusement rides and devices.
• Operate machine shop equipment.
• Read and understand checklists, instruction manuals, etc.
• Maintain inventory of equipment.
• Absorb and assist in the inspection, routine maintenance, lubrication, and repairs of rides as instructed, including replacement of bearings, wheels, miscellaneous parts, and oil changes.
• Maintain daily log sheets of inspections and repairs performed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
