Essential Duties
- Ensure that maintenance schedules are followed as outlined for respective shift or area.
- Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor no matter how minor they may be.
- Cookinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
- Perform other related duties as directed by your supervisor, department director, and/or administrator.
Qualifications
- Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
- Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of maintenance work areas.
- Ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing maintenance practices.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Demands
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Prolonged use of a desktop or laptop computer.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and talk, read or hear.
- Frequent use of all office-related equipment to include; copier/scanner/fax, telephone, and calculator.
- May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
