About the Role

We are seeking a Per Diem LPN Charge Nurse to play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and overseeing nursing services for assigned residents. This position requires adherence to quality care standards, facility policies, legal requirements, medical practices, and physician instructions.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently plan and provide professional care while aligning with the needs of residents and the changing medical landscape.
• Maintain professionalism in interactions with residents, physicians, families, peers, and support staff.
• Document crucial information related to resident care accurately and comprehensively.
• Administer prescribed medications and oversee accurate record-keeping in line with facility policies.

Requirements

• Valid state nursing license in good standing (or in the process of becoming a registered nurse).
• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and long-term care regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Collaborative team player with previous experience in long-term care preferred.
• All LPN positions require weekend on-call availability to support both staff and residents.
• Per diem staff are expected to fulfill (2) weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.

Pay

Competitive rates up to $36 per hour, based on experience. Shift differentials are offered for 2nd and 3rd shifts, and a weekend differential of $2.00 for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.
