Full-Time Lead Sales Associate

Role Overview

The Lead Sales Associate maintains a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus, assisting customers, operating cash registers, stocking merchandise, and ensuring store cleanliness. They act in a leadership capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, performing duties such as opening and closing the store, managing merchandise displays, and supporting store operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Providing superior customer service and assistance
• Operating cash registers and handling transactions accurately
• Restocking, rotating merchandise, and building displays
• Cleaning the store and maintaining safety policies
• Implementing planograms and assisting with store setup
• Performing management duties in absence of store leadership

Qualifications & Skills

• Effective communication
• Knowledge of safety policies
• Ability to follow visual merchandising guides
• Perform basic math and cash handling
• Operate relevant equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent and supervisory experience are preferred

Working Conditions

Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, climbing, and handling merchandise in a fast-paced environment. Occasional outdoor exposure and driving are required.
