Full-Time Lead Sales Associate

Role Overview

This position functions as a Cashier and/or Stocker, providing leadership in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. The role includes unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, assisting with plan‑o‑gram implementation, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining store cleanliness and a safe shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload, unpack, and stock merchandise following store procedures.
• Assist customers in locating products.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and bag merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Support plan‑o‑gram setup and merchandise displays.
• In the absence of management, authorize refunds, oversee cash, and monitor store security.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong math skills and knowledge of cash handling procedures.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and merchandise presentation.
• Preferred: High school diploma.
• Preferred: Six months of supervisory or related experience.
