Full-Time Lead Sales Associate

About the role

Serve as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Assist with setting and maintaining plan-o-grams, merchandising displays, and store programs to ensure optimal presentation.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, receive and open shipments, stock shelves, rotate merchandise, and build displays.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and providing exceptional service.
• Operate cash register, process transactions, collect payments, and bag items.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, restrooms, and stockrooms, and manage trash and cardboard disposal.
• Help set up sidewalk displays and maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment.
• Support store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, register counts, and bank deposits.
• In the absence of leadership, authorize refunds, overrides, monitor cash levels, and oversee security practices such as key control and surveillance.
