Full-Time Lead Sales Associate

About the role

The Lead Sales Associate maintains a clean, organized store with a customer-first approach. They assist customers, operate cash registers, stock merchandise, and support store operations to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction. Acting in a leadership capacity in the absence of store management, they perform duties such as opening and closing the store, implementing planograms, and ensuring safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist with merchandise inquiries.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and manage cash procedures.
• Stock, restock, and rotate merchandise; build displays; follow company processes.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and stockrooms.
• Support the setup of displays and the implementation of planograms.
• Perform opening and closing duties and act in a supervisory role when needed.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety policies, cash handling, and merchandise presentation.
• Ability to perform basic math and operate cash registers.
• Experience in supervisory roles or related fields is preferred.

Working Conditions

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds. Use of equipment such as scanners, pricing guns, and dollies. Fast-paced environment with potential exposure to outside weather and moderate noise levels.
