Full-Time Lead Sales Associate

About the role

Serve as a Cashier and/or Stocker, providing leadership in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Assist in maintaining plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and ensure store organization for optimal presentation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, receive, open, and unpack cartons following store procedures.
• Stock, rotate, face merchandise, and build displays to enhance store appearance.
• Assist with plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Help customers locate merchandise and provide exemplary customer service.
• Operate cash register, process transactions, and handle cash and card payments securely.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including floors, restrooms, and stockroom.
• Support store setup, such as sidewalk displays, and maintain a safe shopping environment.
• In the absence of management, authorize refunds, oversee cash handling, count registers, and make bank deposits.
• Monitor security, including cash levels and camera activity, ensuring adherence to policies.
• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to assist customers effectively.
• Ability to operate cash registers and handle transactions securely.
• Capable of stocking, organizing, and maintaining store displays and plan-o-grams.
• Leadership qualities to act in a lead capacity when needed.
• Attention to detail in store cleanliness, safety, and security procedures.
• Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
