About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care, ensuring positive outcomes through compassionate and efficient nursing practices. Working under general supervision, the role involves coordinating patient care via the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and conditions to deliver appropriate care
- Develop individualized care plans based on medical history and current status
- Administer medications and treatments effectively
- Ensure medical records are accurate and compliant
- Monitor patient responses and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with care teams for effective planning
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- An Associate degree in Nursing is required, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree
- At least 1 year as an RN, with preferred experience in a clinical specialty recognized by national organizations
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state, along with BLS certification from Red Cross or AHA
