Full-Time Houseparent

About the Role

Full-time Flex Houseparents, as a couple, reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor students daily
• Manage household routines and student schedules
• Administer medications and promote student wellness
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational events
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
• Oversee household budgeting and reporting

Requirements

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort leading devotions and attending chapel
• Demonstrated professionalism and integrity
• Married for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27 or older
• Ability to become certified to drive student vans
• Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus
• Pet restrictions apply

Schedule

Couples support various student homes initially with a schedule of nine days on duty followed by three days off. Potential to transition into a Placed Houseparent role.
