Full-Time Houseparent

About the Role

Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, and mentorship to approximately 8–13 students. They create a structured, family-like environment supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring wellness
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational activities
• Leading devotions and accompanying students to chapel
• Managing household budgeting and reporting

Requirements

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Legally married couples of at least two years, both aged 27 or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to be certified to drive student vans
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
• Comfort leading devotions and attending chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and role-model qualities
