Full-Time Houseparent

About the Role

Full-time Flex Houseparents provide care, guidance, and supervision for students in on-campus homes, fostering a family-like environment that supports students' academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor students daily
• Manage household routines and schedules
• Administer medications and ensure wellness
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational events
• Lead devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
• Oversee household budgeting and reporting

Requirements

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Legally married couples for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27 or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with certification ability
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
• Comfort leading devotions and attending chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and role-model qualities
