Veterinarian

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in Sacramento, CA and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules, compassionate hospice and euthanasia care, and a supportive community of veterinarians and support professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes
• Work with clients and pets to ensure comfort and dignity
• Develop strong relationships with clients and pets
• Participate in ongoing training and mentorship programs

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Pay

• 4-day positions starting at $117,500
• 5-day positions offering a base salary of $140,000, plus additional bonus opportunities
