Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in Wilmington, NC and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care in client homes
• Build strong relationships with clients and pets
• Manage caseload efficiently with flexible scheduling
• Participate in ongoing training and mentorship programs
• Support the mission of Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively

Pay

Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $75,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $90,000, plus additional bonus opportunities.
