Full Time Grocery Merchandiser -Tulare, CA

About the role

The Grocery Merchandiser will manage an assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks, taking pictures, and fulfilling reporting requirements using provided technology. The role requires merchandising and the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Territory includes Bakersfield, Porterville, Tulare, Hanford, and Fresno, CA and surrounding areas, with the position based in Tulare, CA (within a 40‑60 mile radius).

Responsibilities

• Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
• Retail work entails (but is not limited to) ordering products and working product to shelves from new orders.
• Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
• Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
• Verify that clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves.
• Maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, retail environment with minimal supervision.
• Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
• Attend client kickoff video calls and team check‑ins as required.
• Responsible for selling, merchandising, and gaining/maintaining distribution across various accounts.
• Ensure clients' products are well stocked and order when product is out of stock or low.
• Consistently use mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
• Switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid Driver License.
• Proof of Automobile insurance.
• Reliable phone (within 5 years old) service and internet service for daily communication.
• Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks and audits at local grocery retailers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
• Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus (but not required).
