Full Time Grocery Merchandiser - Appleton, WI

About the role

The Grocery Merchandiser will service Woodman's by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks with provided iPad. They will have the ability to take pictures and complete reporting requirements with the technology provided. This position will require merchandising, varied merchandising opportunities, and the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds. The role is based in Appleton, WI (within a 40‑60 mile radius) and requires travel of 600‑800 miles per month across the Appleton and Green Bay, WI areas.

Responsibilities

• Service Woodman's by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks with the provided iPad.
• Take pictures and complete reporting requirements.
• Perform merchandising and varied merchandising opportunities.
• Repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Sell, merchandise, and gain/maintain distribution within a variety of accounts.
• Ensure clients' products are well stocked and order if product is out of stock or low.
• Consistently use mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
• Switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day.
• Lift, bend/stoop for extended periods of time.
• Work independently, follow directions, and maintain excellent communication skills.
• Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
• Perform retail work including ordering products and working product to shelves from new orders.
• Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
• Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
• Verify that clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves.
• Maintain a safe working environment while working in stores.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail environment with minimal supervision.
• Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
• Attend client kickoff video calls and team check‑ins as required.
