Full-Time General Surgeon

About the role

We are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible General Surgeon to join a busy, mission-driven surgical team serving rural communities. The role involves providing emergency, inpatient, and outpatient surgical care across multiple locations, with a focus on bringing surgical services to underserved areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inpatient rounds and respond to ER/inpatient consults.
• Manage emergency general surgery cases collaboratively.
• Ensure perioperative care standards are met and communicate effectively during coverage transitions.
• Conduct clinic visits twice per shift week for post-operative follow-ups and new patient evaluations in rural communities.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Eligible in General Surgery.
• California medical license or eligibility.

Skills

• Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical management skills.

Pay

Competitive salary ($440,000–$500,000).

Schedule

Participate in a schedule typically consisting of 7 days on and 7 days off, with travel between hospitals.
